AT&T Inc. announced yesterday that the tablet computers that are being made by Cisco System Inc. would be sold by their organization and thus has become the second carrier from United States who announced in the past few days that the in-discussion business-centric device produced by Cisco would be supported by them, sources said.

The first tablet in this list i.e. Cius tablet of Cisco System Inc. would be offered by AT&T as per their plan which is to bring this tablet computer in the market in this fall, sources said. This tablet i.e. Cius tablet will be initially offered by AT&T to its business customers. Previous organization, which spoke in favor of Cisco System Inc.’s favor that their tablet computers will be marketed by them, was Verizon Wireless.

An earlier statement from the Verizon Wireless was carrying the words that 4G version of tablet computers of Cisco System Inc. would be marketed in their outlets from this spring, sources said. But yet the price of above mentioned Cius tablet is to confirm as has not been disclosed by any source. AT&T did not clear their point of view whether subsidy on this tablet computer will be given by them or not.

Android software, designed or created by Google Inc. is seen running on Cius tablet made by Cisco System Inc. This tablet computer is actually an effort of Cisco to breach the tablet market of red-hot, sources said. Currently the company Cisco, is in deep trouble and is desperately in need of getting any of their product hit in the commercial market, sources said.
