This product of Sony Corporation was worst-kept secret product of this company whose detail could not be revealed by any source until the release date of this product was confirmed by this organization in the start of this month.

Now a replacement to Sony A700 could be expected with the official confirmation of this camera by Sony Corporation which would be in hands probably in this coming summer or mid-summer, stated by Sony.

The company stated yesterday through a news release of its officials that the specs of Sony A77 have been divulged by the company at trade shows.

The previous announcement of this Sony A700 or Sony Alpha 700’s replacement was announced in the mid-February by the company to be marketed in a translucent skeleton casing sometime in the mid-year.

Some experts are describing the name of this upcoming new camera of Sony Corporation as Sony A77 and some are describing it as Sony A800. An image to this in-discussion upcoming camera was also released by the company last month.

The official of Sony said in their recent statement that translucent mirror technology would be featured in this replacement of the Sony Alpha 700 or Sony A700 camera and it would join the already in-market range of products known as Sony A55 and Sony A33.

Other notable specs of this in-discussion camera known as Sony A77 or Sony A800 are being described as the ability of video recording in Full HD mode and newly developed sensor of the company known as Sony Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor.
