Skype 0day vulnerability publicized by Pure Hacking earlier this week, reports claimed. This research report of the security category eventually made Skype reveal their security plans and they are in intention to release a large-scaled public fix for this recently publicized vulnerability next week, reports claimed. This security vulnerability was reported by Pure Hacking in the Skype’s Mac version.

This security research was actually publicized by Mr. Gordon Maddern, who is recognized as the part of Pure Hacking (which is known as a security research firm in United States). The name of this security research is being detailed as “Skype 0day vulnerability” which actually was published by Gordon Maddern of Pure Hacking earlier this week on his blog.

But this security research was not detailed by Maddern who also declined detailing this matter until the issue is fully resolved by Skype for their Mac version. Maddern wrote on his blog that the details behind this security research would definitely be detailed but after being fixed by Skype. Skype also did not comment on this security research made by Pure Hacking but a quick fix had been released by Skype in mid-April.

Skype further responded to this recently publicized security research by stating that another update will be released for their Mac version as early as in the coming week, reports claimed. A maliciously crafted message from Skype could be allowed by this recently discovered vulnerability which eventually can give control of Mac to the hackers, Maddern wrote. This in-discussion vulnerability was actually discovered by Maddern around a month ago, reports claimed.
