Self deleting hard drives introduced by Toshiba, reports claimed.
It was the matter of past that if somehow you lost your hard drive or someone stole your hard drive from your personal computer or laptop then the access to all your personal information or data can be done by the person who stole your hard drive by easily connecting it to another device.
But don’t worry, as this problem is no more a problem and could easily be avoided with the help of self-deleting hard drives introduced by Toshiba.
Thanks to Toshiba who brought this solution to a very critical problem of the computer world in shape of a new range of their hard drives.
This recently announced self deleting hard drives’ range by Toshiba is yet to start its market journey as has not been released yet but will be very soon.
A new range of hard drives has been revealed by Toshiba yesterday which are being described or detailed by the company as self deleting hard drives.
So if you lost your hard drive, don’t worry, because the protected data will be automatically deleted by this newly announced range of Toshiba’s hard drives.
This protected data will be deleted only if the hard drive is connected to a host which is unknown to the hard drive.
It is being reported by Pocket-lint’s Rik Henderson that probably these self deleting hard drives would be introduced by Toshiba for the first time to OEMs.
Certain machines can be configured or set to work with these hard drives that eventually will work in protecting precious personal data to be stolen while connecting with another device.
Storage options of these Toshiba’s hard drives are being described as ranges from 160GB to 640GB.
