Asus UX21 Ultrabook is being described as the name of that very first ultrabook which has been recently unveiled by Intel which is also recognized as very first laptop-tablet hybrid device.
This in-discussion laptop-tablet hybrid device is the first joint effort of Asus and Intel Inc. in terms of introducing a device that may have both laptop as well as tablet qualities in many ways, sources said.
This first ultrabook was unveiled by Intel recently at Computex event when the latest plans of laptop-based chipset were unveiled by the company.
Low power consumption as well as the skinny looks are being described as the emphasized points of Intel to introduce laptop-based chips because the company wants some share of the profit from the rapidly growing tablet market, sources said.
Intel Inc. is being described as going through the phase of biggest challenges for this technology giant in the history of this venture of the past 43 years. Therefore the company wants to regain its historical popularity in terms of chips which eventually led this organization to accelerate its ongoing efforts.
The company is to produce latest chips for ultra-thin laptops, netbooks, tablets and mobile phones, sources said. This newly introduced laptop-based chip has been named by Intel Inc. as “Ultrabook” which could be a good rival to the ARM technology as well to the Apple technology.
Though no official product, that is carrying Ultrabook technology in it, has been officially announced by Intel yet but Sean Maloney (executive vice president) recently said that more or less 40 percent of market products will be seen carrying Ultrabook technology by the end of coming year.
